For many years, Crathes has been associated with ghostly goings on and strange occurrences, so much so one of the Baronets indeed had a “boodie fear,” doric words for “fear of ghosts.” Join Crathes Castle’s Estate Manager Doug (and amateur cryptozoologist) as he talks through some of the famous, and not so famous, ghosts of Crathes. Delving deep into the Ghost Logbook where staff and public have been documenting supernatural experiences.

Douglas Kyle was born and bred in Scotland’s West Coast. Having worked several jobs from retail to security, Douglas is now the Estate Manager at Crathes Castle looking after the Estate and the buildings.
